The Department of Medicine for Older People specialises in the management of people over the age of 65 years and provides comprehensive and holistic management to our patients alongside the wider multidisciplinary team of therapists, pharmacists, and nursing staff.

We manage conditions such as falls, dementia and delirium, movement disorders such as Parkinson’s Disease, and frailty.

Community geriatricians work between primary and secondary care to provide a seamless service for our older patients.

The department has outpatient clinics for movement disorders and falls.
