Clinics managers are authorised to reduce a parking charge for a patient where there has been a clinic delay of more than one hour, up to a maximum of two hours. The reduced charge will reflect the time delayed, i.e. a hour hour delay would result in a discount of hour hour from the parking charge.
Concessions should be appropriately applied based on the reasons above. Persons authorised to issue concessions are expected to apply their judgement and should not issue concessions where they are not warranted.
Where a patient is entitled to free car parking through the Patient Travel Cost Policy, they should be directed to the Cash Office, Ground Floor, Aintree Lodge.
