Janet Paul, Head of Transformation and Value

High level support to the Thematics and sites where appropriate. Attendance at Trust FRB and other relevant FRBs. Lead on specific projects/programmes particularly where complex or high level. Ensure appropriate reporting is in place for FRBs, Improvement Board and other associated meetings. Ensure appropriate governance is in place across the programme and the five workstreams. Risk and issue management across the CIP and the overall Financial Sustainability Programme.

Sarah Shaw, Programme Manager

My name is Sarah Shaw, I am a Programme Manager within the T&V Team, supporting the Aintree HLT and Divisions in delivering their financial sustainability and cost improvement plans.  I have worked for the NHS for 23 years, in areas including digital, community services, commissioning and corporate governance.  I have worked at LUHFT on various transformation projects since 2015.

Rebecca Maguire, Programme Manager

My name is Rebecca Maguire. I am a Programme Manager within the Transformation & Value Team. I am currently site lead for the Royal Hospital and I oversee the multifaceted cost improvement programme. I first joined the NHS just over 18 months ago and prior to joining LUHFT I worked within the private sector. My previous career experience includes my roles as a Quality Assurance Officer, Continuous Improvement Lead and more recently a Root Cause Data Analyst at The Very Group.

Mike Savage, Project and Governance Lead

I'm Mike Savage, one of the Governance Leads and Project Managers within the Transformation and Value team.

I have a split role that encompasses the tracking, monitoring and reporting of the Trust's Cost Improvement Programme, alongside supporting the Corporate teams with delivery of their individual portfolios and projects.

I have been with the Trust since 2008 in a variety of roles, formerly within Estates and Facilities, and latterly Service Improvement & Transformation based roles.

Steven Barnes, Project and Governance Lead

My name is Steve Barnes. I am a Project and Governance Lead within the Transformation and Value Team. I provide governance structures and management to optimise value from our Quality and Equality Impact Assessments and Post Implementation Reviews and am currently providing programme lead support for Liverpool Clinical Laboratories on the Royal site as part of the LUHFT Cost Improvement Programme to improve our financial sustainability as well as project managing a range of prioritised schemes across the trust.

I  first joined the NHS just over nine years ago and prior to joining LUHFT  three years ago, had worked at both Liverpool Womens and Liverpool Heart and Chest hospitals. Prior to this I worked in the private sector mainly for Littlewoods Shop Direct and Bupa.

My previous career experience includes roles in service transformation, quality improvement, production management as well as a variety of project management roles.

Toni Malone, Project Manager

My name is Toni Malone, I am a project manager within the Transformation & Value team. I support the Royal HLT and divisional leads with the Financial recovery programme and the delivery of projects. I have worked for LUHFT for just short of 3 years and started out my journey within Digital services, moving on to Quality Improvement. I successfully gained my Associate Project Management Qualification in December 2022 and completed my Project Managaement Apprenticiship in June 2023.

Sheri Van Der Vaal, Project Manager

I have 15+ years' experience in a variety of roles across LUHFT, including outpatient clinic clerk, personal assistant and business change analyst, finding my niche in project management with a focus on improvement. I have a passion for ensuring that our staff and our patients have the most efficient, productive experience in our trust with a basis in quality and value. I currently support the Aintree site with Sarah Shaw.

Charlotte Rothwell, Project Co-ordinator

I’m a Project Coordinator in the Transformation & Value Team supporting the Financial Sustainability Programme. I joined the NHS in December 2020 as part of the Digital New Royal Programme. Previously I worked for an online retailer in PMO and Transformation roles, and a 3rd party Logistics software company in programming, analyst and PM roles.
