The Transformation and Value (T&V) teams' purpose is to support delivery of LUHFT's Cost Improvement Plan target in line with the eight pillars of the LUHFT Improvement portfolio
The T&V Team focus on:
- Driving realisation of financial benefits across the pillars.
- Instilling a culture of deliverability.
- Enabling accountability.
To enable these key areas of focus the team ensures:
Regular action-oriented meetings
- The T&V team drives benefit realisation through standardized, regular meetings including Cost Improvement Programme Boards for each workstream, regular progress updates and ad-hoc workshops/drop-in sessions as required
- Attendees can include Senior Responsible Officers (SRO's), Project Leads, Finance representatives along with subject matter experts and support staff as required
- These meetings are action-oriented, focusing on removing blockers and driving progress
- The T&V team operates with a fact-based approach and ensures initiatives are progressed as quickly as manageable.
Challenge upwards and downwards
- The T&V team has a mandate from the Trust to challenge both upward and downward
- It helps ensure senior leads are accountable if targets and milestones are not met
- By doing so, it ensures alignment and urgency to deliver financial sustainability targets throughout the organisation.
Single source of truth
- An important role of the T&V team is to ensure that all participants have a transparent view of initiatives
- It maintains a central record (CIP tracker) of each initiative owner’s progress, creating a “single source of truth.”
- We have created a dashboard (CIP dashboard) that pulls everything together including metrics to provide high level CIP information through to more detailed scheme level information.
