University Hospitals of Liverpool Charity is pleased to offer all staff across each of our sites a £5 voucher for you to use towards a free festive meal as a way to thank all of our hard-working colleagues during the forthcoming festive season.

Vouchers can be collected from general office from Tuesday 3 December and are available to use until Tuesday 31 December 2024.

A representative from each department will be required to collect vouchers on behalf of their team as individual vouchers will not be issued. Please be mindful that general office on each site is open between the following times:

 

  • Aintree: 8:00am-4:00pm
  • Broadgreen: 8:30am-4:30pm
  • Royal: 9am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 9:00am-4:00pm on Fridays

 

Community and offsite teams are encouraged to visit their nearest catering outlet with their team using their vouchers or when not possible, can request for their team vouchers to be posted out to them by contacting organisational.development@liverpoolft.nhs.uk.

If you don’t fancy a festive meal, you are entitled to choose an alternative option.

For those who do not wish to redeem your voucher, these can be donated back to the charity to support the Festive Favours in-patient gifting and ward decoration programme taking place throughout

December to help spread some joy to those requiring to stay in hospital over the festive period.

Terms and conditions

This voucher entitles you to one free meal per person, redeemable at restaurant/catering outlet on the Aintree, Broadgreen and Royal sites with exception to the Aintree Retail Shop. This voucher has no monetary value and change will not be given. The voucher is valid for use until 31 December 2024.

Frequently asked questions 

Q: I've been to collect my team's vouchers but General Office have said that we aren't registered to the site. 

A: A report has been provided by the workforce team to general office to help track collections as best as possible. If you're team is registered to a particular site then your tickets may have been sent to a different general office. 

 

Q: Where is our nearest catering outlet?

A: If you are a community team then you can visit any catering outlet across one of our main hospital sites to use your voucher. 

 

Q:  Can something else be done for community teams?

A: Unfortunately, it is not possible to offer a lunch at every location. The vouchers provided can be used at any of the main hospital sites. Food can also be collected on behalf of teams where teams are unable to come to the site together at once. 

 

Q: I'm a bank worker, do I get a voucher?

A: Yes, all colleagues are eligible for a free festive meal voucher. 

 

Q: I work nights, when and where can I use my voucher?

A: Colleagues can use their vouchers at any outlet at any time of the day or night, for example, breakfast.
