As a Trust, we are committed to developing fantastic leaders and teams who feel invested in, supported, and are empowered to deliver the highest standards of healthcare our city deserves.

To support this, we’ve launched our new Leadership Framework, which is the blueprint in how we understand what effective leadership is at LUHFT, alongside the Leadership Self-Assessment Tool (LSAT).

How will this support me as a leader?

We know that compassionate and inclusive leadership is a major component in creating motivational teams, driving improvement, and ultimately, delivering the highest quality patient care.

Our new framework consists of seven ‘Leadership Domains’ and outlines the behaviours, skills, and attributes it takes to be a great leader at the Trust. You can read the framework here.

Leaders are encouraged to self-assess against these using the Leadership Self-Assessment Tool (LSAT). The LSAT has been designed and co-created by LUHFT leaders for LUHFT leaders, through a series of workshops and development sessions.

The Framework and LSAT will also link to the LUHFT appraisal process, to support your progress and personal development planning.

If you have any questions about the Leadership Framework or LSAT, please contact the Organisational Development team, who will be able to support you.
