What is a Falls Champion?

Each ward and department area should have their own Falls Champion.

Why is the role of the falls champion important across the organisation?

  • Promote good practise
  • Challenge and escalate poor practise
  • Role model
  • Demonstrate evidence base practice
  • Act as a resource
  • Contribute to audits
  • Commitment to training.

Fall champions meetings are held quarterly via Teams. The meeting links will be emailed to all our falls champions

If you would like to become a Falls Champion, please call 0151 706 3477 (Royal and Broadgreen) or 0151 529 3406 (Aintree).
