The winners and runners up of the Star AHP Awards and the LUHFT AHP Bake-off were announced at an online ceremony on AHP Day 2024, Monday 14 October and can be viewed below.

The winners
The Star Allied Health Professionals (AHP) Awards highlight and reward our AHPs across LUHFT who have made an outstanding contribution and provided exceptional care to our patient’s, their families, and colleagues over the past 12 months.
Categories reflect the Trust’s values and will help us celebrate, appreciate, inspire and connect AHPs across LUHFT as part of AHP Day 2024.
Winners and runners up were announced on AHP Day, Monday 14 October 2024, for the following categories:
- Star AHP (Registered staff) - Bernard Chu, Specialist Stroke Dietitian
- Star AHP support worker - Colette Bauress, Therapy Assistant
- AHP Educator of the Year - Ella Maxwell, Occupational Therapist
- AHP Leader of the Year - Jo Winton, Consultant Shoulder and Elbow Physiotherapist
- AHP Learner of the Year - Cam Coulburn, Apprentice Therapy Assistant Practitioner AND Chrissy Epimenidou, Apprentice Dietitian (joint winners)
- AHP Innovator of the Year - Sophie Freeman, Lead Radiographer, MRI
- Care and Compassion Star AHP Award - Katie Wallach, Occupational Therapist
- Star AHP Team (registered, unregistered and A&C) - Acute Intervention Team
