We are proud to announce that our Aintree University Hospital, Broadgreen Hospital and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital sites have all been reaccredited as gold standard under the Ministry of Defence’s Employer Recognition scheme (ERS).
The ERS is a government initiative designed to encourage employers to actively support the Armed Forces and demonstrate their commitment to the Armed Forces community. Our sites have been awarded Gold, the highest honour, that recognises our support for the Armed Forces Covenant; a promise to understand though who serve or have served in the Armed Forces and their loved ones. The five-year reaccreditation also recognises our work to recruit veterans, reservists, and their families, and ensuring that the armed forces community is integrated at all levels of the organisation.
Diane Haddock, Associate Director Occupational Health and Wellbeing, said: “As a serving Reservist and a passionate advocate for the commitment made to our Armed Forces Community, it’s fantastic to know that we continue to receive strong organisational support. This enables us to remain an integral part of the UK's Defence, while also bringing valuable military knowledge, skills and experience back to our civilian workplaces. It is truly rewarding to see how this synergy benefits both the Armed Forces and the broader workforce."
