The annual NHS Staff Survey is one of the largest workforce surveys, designed to improve the working experience of colleagues across the NHS.

The recent release of its results showed feedback from 4700 colleagues and positive improvements across all nine key survey themes.

These improvements show that the work the organisation is doing to improve LUHFT as a place of work is already having an impact with more colleagues saying they would recommend LUHFT as a place to both work and receive care. The increased confidence in the standard of care provided by LUHFT is reflective of the recent work that the Trust has been doing to get the essentials right every time for its patients, which includes improving waiting times for diagnosis and treatment.

Whilst the results of the survey prove that the organisation is moving in the right direction, the Trust has further work planned to continue to make positive improvements, regularly giving colleagues the opportunity to provide feedback so that they can ensure they are able to get it right for everyone.
