We’re pleased to announce that Su Rai has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the UHLG Board. Su has started a three-year term of office, running until 27 February 2028.

Su is a chartered accountant in practice and established her own firm, Raise Associates, in 2010, after working with international accountancy practices. In 2012, she became a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and is currently a Non-Executive Director and Deputy Chair at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust, a role held since 2019. Su will continue in Non-Executive Director role across the two organisations

Other roles Su has worked within have included senior positions at KPMG and Audit Partner in Horwarth Clark Whitehill, and Mazars Accountants, as well as various voluntary roles, including working with a mental health charity for young people.
